Sidney Belle Nash, 82, of Edmonds, Washington, died March 25, 2005, at her home. She was born to Sidney Cazort and Myrtle (Webb) Cazort, in Lamar, Arkansas, on November 24, 1922. Sidney was the beloved wife of William "Bill" Nash. She was a beautiful lady in all ways. Sidney was proud to have been a member of the WAVE in the U.S. Navy during WWII. She was one of 20 pigeoneers! Also, during the war she took part in War Bond Rallies and was a member of the Navy Choir.
Sidney received a college degree on the G.I. Bill and taught school in Arkansas and at St. Nicholas in Seattle. She was a draftsman at Boeing when she met her husband-to-be, Bill, and sparks flew. Sidney and Bill were married for 50 years. Sidney was a longtime member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (Peter Puget Chapter) with many terrific ladies.
She is survived by loving husband, Bill; and many great relatives and friends! Sidney was preceded in death by her son, Paul.
The Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 9, 2005, at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills Funeral Home, Lynnwood, Washington.
