Scott Bankson died at the age of 47 of Cystic Fibrosis. He graduated from Lincoln Northeast High School. He had moved to Oklahoma to work in the Oil Fields, then relocated to Texas for the last 7 years, to work as a Pipeline Safety Inspector.
He is survived by: His Ex-Wife of 2 years, Joan (Holmes) Bankson, they divorced in 2013 after 16 years of marriage, Three Stepdaughters, 8 Step-Grandchildren, a twin brother Allen Bankson of Gretna, Nebraska, his mother Bonnie Bankson of Lincoln, Nebraska, and his father Kent Bankson of Lincoln, Nebraska.
