Shirley Ann Carpenter, 68, of Murray died Friday, May 1, 2015 at her home.
Shirley was born on Feb. 4, 1947 in Murray. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church and was an education assistant for the Calloway County Board of Education.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Thomas and Hilda Faye Adams Miller, and a son, Charles David (Chuck) Borders.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Jackie Carpenter of Murray; a daughter, Kim Parker of Murray; three sisters, Mary Lee Ramsey, Linda Hoke, husband Jackie and Kathy Miller, all of Murray and a grandchild, Olivia Grace Ann Parker.
Funeral services are set for 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at the Heritage Chapel of Imes Funeral Home in Murray. Burial will follow at Murray Memorial Gardens. Brett Miles will officiate.
The family will receive visitors between 5-8 p.m. Monday, May 4, 2015 at the funeral home.
