Gettysburg - Dale H. Arnold, 58, 32 N. Howard Ave., died Thursday evening, July 24, 1986, at his home. He was the husband of Kathleen Kump Arnold. Born in Biglerville, he was the son of the late Rudolph and Carrie Melhon Arnold.

Dale was a veteran of the Korean War serving as a Sergeant In the Army. He owned and operated A and A Auto Salvage and Arnolds Shell Service. He was a member of VFW Post 15 and the Gettysburg Moose.

Surviving also are a son, Dennis A. Arnold, Gettysburg; two grandchildren, two sisters, Bernice Brechbill and Loretta Warren, both of Gettysburg; two brothers, Harold Arnold, Shippensburg; and Fred Arnold, Biglerville, and nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. In Monahan Funeral Home, Gettysburg, with the Rev. Michael H. Yeager officiating. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens. There will be no viewing. In lieu of other memorials, the family asks that contributions may be made to Hospice of Adams County.
