Nehemiah is the final child of Samuel Allen and Sarah Partridge. On 8 Jan 1707 he was united in marriage to Sarah Wormall and have a family of about six children.

1. Sarah Snow Allen-20 Aug 1706-29 Sep 1744-Nathaniel Pratt
2. Alice Allen-8 Oct 1707-28 Nov 1741-Arthur Latham/Jonathon Allen
3. Martha Allen-17 Oct 1713-27 Apr 1780-Jacob Hayward
4. Nehemiah Allen-8 Jul 1715
5. Lydia Allen-1718-8 Aug 1800-Richard Vining
6. Bethiah Allen-14 Feb 1724-17 Jul 1806- Micah Turner

After the death/divorce it seems he remarried to Anna Wilmarth-22 Aug 1679-1728-but the wedding dates are the same. I will list them BUT REMEMBER to recheck as you will see what I mean as a couple of the children are close in dates with Sarah's children:

1. Isaac Allen-15 Sep 1711
2. John Allen-9 Jan 1713
3. Katherine Allen-1715
4. Nehemiah Allen-4 Jul 1716-6 Jul 17889
5. Anne Allen-1 Oct 1720-1785
6. Sarah Allen-14 Feb 1723

The book "Epitaphs in Old Bridgewater" states about Nehemiah:
"Nehemiah Allen was 22 years old in 1703, and was not married till 1707, and his parents, grantors in this deed of 1703, had moved into their new house (Leonard Hill house) from their old house on the bank of the river, near the railroad crossing; and there they lived, and there they died; he June 28, 1705, and his wife, Sarah, after the date of the deed, June 28, 1703, but when is not known; and were, no doubt, both of them buried in this yard, and on the 100 rods given by his son Samuel, but no stone marks their resting-place."...Thanks Chip
