Dickinson Press; July 8, 1950

Frank Schwindt, 70, Killdeer, died at 2 p.m. July 3, of cancer, at his home. He had been ill for three months.

Funeral services were held yesterday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Killdeer with Father Goettemoeller, Father Spegele and Father H. Hess officiating. Pallbearers were Mike Heiser, Steve Hiser, Anton Dvorak, Vincent Dvorak, Jacob Fittig and Tony Lyons. Interment was in the Killdeer cemetery.

Mr. Schwindt was born in Russia, July 15, 1871. His parents were Mr. and Mrs. Sebastian Schwindt. He came to the United States in 1890.

He married Barbara Fisher, May 25, 1895, in Dickinson. They had 12 children: Peter, Rose, Leonard, John, Andrew, Sister Hildegard, Katherine, Joe, Sister Helen, Rasmus, Steve and Frank.

The Schwindts celebrated their fifty-fifth wedding anniversary this spring. All of their children were present.

Surviving relatives are his wife....
