A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, June 17, at the United Church of Los Alamos, 2525 Canyon Road. A reception will follow. Burial will be in the National Cemetery in Santa Fe with military honors. Berardinelli of Santa Fe is in charge of arrangements.
He worked as a technical engineer for Raymond G. Osborne Laboratory in Los Angeles, and Kaiser Cement and Gypsum Corp. in Helena and Seattle.
Survivors include his wife, Luana of Los Alamos; two sons who were graduates of Helena High School, Robert Ecke and his wife, Cheryl Smith-Ecke, of Los Alamos, and Richard Ecke and his wife, Carol, of Great Falls; and four grandchildren.
