Hill King Linda Westmoreland Hill Jul. 6, 1941 - Apr. 29, 2015 Linda Westmoreland Hill, 73, A gathering of family and friends celebrating our dear Linda's life will begin at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Pine Hill Friends Meeting, Highway 268, Ararat, NC with a service to follow at 3 pm. Linda Lee Westmoreland Hill is the wife of Kenneth Hill of King, NC. She is the daughter of Howard and Lotty Chilton Westmoreland. Her sisters are Kay Burgess, who went to heaven in 2012, and Joan King and Ruamie Tilton. Vernon Burgess, Stan King and Gary Tilton are brothers-in-law she cared for deeply. She is the proud aunt of Bobby Burgess, Amy and Abbey Tilton and a great aunt to Joseph, Jackson, Joshua, Jeremy, Jonathan and Jacoby. Linda and Kenneth experienced the military life for over twenty years and were stationed all over the United States. She shared her love for fishing, volleyball, golf, bowling and softball with her husband of 57 years. The devotion she had for the Hope Valley Women's Treatment Center in Pilot Mountain by volunteering in helping others will never be forgotten. She brought joy to those she taught how to fish with patience, kindness and laughter while trying to reel in the biggest fish in the pond, George. She was a confidant and loyal friend to many. Animals, especially her little dog, Tiny, were a very crucial part of Linda's life.
