Agnes Amelia Hove was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on October 11, 1891, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Anderson. when a young girl the Anderson family came to LaGrande Township where Agnes attended school, was confirmed in the East Moe Lutheran Church. She was united in marriage to Carl Olaf Hove December 8, 1920. Their only child, a son, John O. was born in 1924, was reported missing in action in World War Two in May 1943. The Hove's operated a cafe in Alexandria for several years and later made their home in Minneapolis. Mr. Hove preceded her in death in September 1952.
Mrs. Hove has been a resident of Alexandria the past nine years, where she passed away August 13, 1971 at the age of 79 years. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Funeral services were held August 16, 1971 at Anderson Funeral Chapel at Alexandria, Minnesota. Rev. Wm. Bruggeman officiating. Pallbearers were LaVern Nelson, William Anderson, Robert Anderson, Otto Stinglhammer, Alden Anderson and Ray Severson. Interment was at Kinkead Cemetery, Alexandria, Minnesota.
