Grover Clyde "Clyde" Lollar, Sr. of Granby, Missouri passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2006 in Neosho, Missouri following a lengthy illness at the age of 78 years, 5 months and 2 days.

He was born on January 8, 1928 in Old Mines Missouri, the son of Grover C. Lollar and Letha Leona Hawk Lollar.

Clyde was united in marriage to Buelah Duree on January 22, 1949 at Saint John's Missouri. To this union, 3 sons and 2 daughters were born - Grover Clyde Lollar, Jr., Carl Wade Lollar, Michael Allen Lollar, Marilyn Mae (Lollar) Cary and Barbara Kay (Lollar) Davison.

Clyde was an iron worker for Nielson Construction in Denver, Colorado, where he and Buelah lived for 30 years until they returned to the Granby area in 1986. Clyde and Buelah owned and operated the C and B Kennels in Granby.

One of the great joys of Clyde's life was toying pranks on family and friends and telling jokes and laughing.

Clyde was preceded in death by his parents, 4 sisters - Delia (Lollar) Harding, Eileen Lollar, Goldie Marie (Lollar) Krzton, Margaret Mary Lollar, 3 brothers - Monroe Lollar, Paul Lollar and Solomon Edward Lollar.

Clyde is survived by his wonderful wife of 55 years Buelah Lollar and 1 son Michael A. Lollar of the home; Grover C. Lollar, Jr. of Virginia; Marilyn Mae Cary of Ft. Collins, Colorado; Barbara Kay Davison of Joplin, Missouri; Carl W. Lollar of Canyon, Texas; 3 sisters - Nancy Isabell (Lollar) Diesel of Piedmont, Missouri; Shirley Katherine Gale (Lollar) Seufert of Bolivar, Missouri and Essie Ruth (Lollar) Swan of St. Louis, Missori as well as many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
