Becky Jean Barclay passed away April 25, 2015. she was born on April 23, 1948, to Glenn and Annice Funk in Indianapolis and was a 1966 graduate of Howe High School. Becky was preceded in death by her parents, in-laws, and sister Glenna, and is survived by her devoted husband Bill, son Lyle (Jennifer) Neal, step-children Lellani Stone and Butch Keahiolalo; grandchildren, Andrew and Angelynn Neal and several nieces and nephews.

Becky was an accomplished quilter, painter, and baker. She was an Indiana State Fair Champion many times over for various recipes and a Hamilton County Fair Grand Reserve Champion baker. Becky held a variety of interests including dogs, horses, travel, reading, and playing cards and games. She was past president of the Hamilton County Extension Homemakers Association, member of book Worms book club, and a former volunteer reader for Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic. Prior to retirement Becky was an executive secretary and technology trainer for several law firms, particularly Ice Miller LLP in Indianapolis and Kennedy Covington Lobdell & Hickman LLP in Charlotte, NC.

Visitation will be from 1-3 pm on Saturday May 2, 2015 at Geisen funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre, 606 E. 113th Street, Crown Point, IN 46307. A memorial service will take place at 3 pm, with private interment of cremains at a later date.

Though Bill and Becky recently moved to Crown Point, IN, to be with family, work took them to a variety of places. From Indianapolis to Charlotte to New Jersey and home again. Becky leaves behind a wide circle of loving friends. Becky fought cancer with grace and incredible strength, and her sense of humor, positivity and sharp wit will be missed by all who knew her.
