MAE ELLEN SUMRALL RILEY, AGE 84
And a resident of Franklinton died early Thursday morning April 30, 2015 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home. She was a longtime member of Grace Missionary Baptist Church and a wonderful cook for her friends and family. She enjoyed working in her garden and tending her flowers. Mae loved playing music on her guitar and she had written several songs which she loved performing and listening to. She also enjoyed square dancing in her younger years.

Son and Daughter in law: Kenneth and Brenda Strahan of Franklinton
3 Step-children: Kim Barber, Karen and Dr. Eric Payne all of Franklinton, Mark and Sharon Riley of Kentwood
4 Grandchildren: Ashton, Whitney, Trevor and Taylor
Also numerous nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her first husband Osbon Strahan, son Bruce Osbon Strahan, her parents Huey Sumrall and Velma Crain Sumrall, a sister Ruth Peterson, and 2 brothers John Quincy Sumrall and Wilt Sumrall.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Friday May 1st from 9 am until the funeral service at 11 am in the funeral home chapel with Eld. J.W. Graves officiating. Burial will follow in the Springhill-Magee Cemetery.
Pallbearers: John Sumrall, Chris Sumrall, Joseph Sumrall, Mike Sumrall, Donnie Sumrall, Alan Sumrall and Mark Riley.
