Mary Elizabeth Ashmore married William Edward Beavers on May 6, 1967 at Frayser Baptist Church in Memphis, Shelby County, TN. They were married on Saturday at 3pm. The Rev. P. O. Davidson officiated, and Mrs. C. O. Cox played the wedding music with Robert Spahn singing.
Mary had lived in Millington, Shelby County, TN for many years before moving to Kodak, Sevier County, TN for several years and finally White House, Sumner County, TN.
Mary died on April 29, 2015 at 70 y/o around 10:40pm after an extended illness in White House, Sumner County, TN.

Mary was born September 6, 1944 to the late Shelly and Wilkie Ashmore in Lucy, Shelby County, Tennessee. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Anita Ashmore Hinkson.
Mary is survived by her husband William Beavers, Sr. of White House; son, William Beavers, Jr. of Nashville, Tennessee; daughter, Amy Beavers Ford of Nashville, Tennessee; sisters, Faye Brennen of Calif., Shirley Spahn and Patrica Webb both of Memphis, Tennessee; and 5 grandchildren.
Mary was a flight attendant with Delta Airlines and a member of First Baptist Church of Hendersonville. Funeral service for Mary is Sunday, May 3, at 3:00 pm in the White House Chapel of Austin and Bell Funeral Home. Visitation with the family is Sunday, May 3, starting at 1:00 pm until the hour of service. Interment will be on Monday, May 4, at 1:00 pm in the Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Pegram, Tennessee.
