Mrs. Rose E. Burdette, 88, of No. 6, 12 St., Ford City, died at 9:15 a.m. Sunday. A daughter of Thomas and Christina (Wyant) Jack, she was born in North Buffalo Township on Jan. 10, 1880. Mrs. Burdette was a member of Ford Memorial Methodist Church, Ford City, and the Dames of Malta. Her husband, Frank H. Burdette, died in 1965. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Samuel (Thelma) Wolfe of Plainville, Conn. and Mrs. Frank (Sara) Wester of Ford City RD 2; 10 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren. BURDETTE - Friends of Mrs. Rose E. Burdette of No. 6, 12th St., Ford City, who died Aug. 4, 1968, may call at Wendell A. Welch Funeral Home, Ford City, from 3-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Services will be held at the funeral home at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday (Aug. 7) by the Rev. Denton S. Mann, pastor of Ford Memorial Methodist Church. Burial will be made in Lawn Haven Cemetery. Arrangements by Welch.
