AVON—Beulah P. Shaw, age 84 of Avon, formerly of the Campbell Heights area of Pike County, passed away at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at the Village of Avon in Avon, Indiana.

Beulah was born Oct. 14, 1930 in Pike County to August and Roxie (Owens) Strunk. She married Frank Shaw on March 13, 1958 in Gibson County. He preceded her in death April 13, 1979.

Beulah retired as a vice president from The First National Bank of Winslow and was employed in the banking industry for over 50 years.

She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by a son, Michael Shaw and his wife Kelly, Coatesville.

Preceding her in death besides her husband were two sisters, Marie Davis, and Helen Mason, and one brother Charles Strunk.

Private graveside services will be held Saturday, May 2 at the Montgomery Cemetery in Oakland City.

Friends and family may call from 3-8 p.m. Friday, May 1, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or a favorite charity.
