George W. Baker, of the Capitol home, died at 1:15 p.m. today at Memorial hospital, where he had been a patient for two years. The body is at the Vancil funeral home.

George W. Baker, 84, of 1917 S. Eighteenth St., retired furniture and hardware businessman, and former resident of Loami, died at 1:15 p.m. yesterday at Memorial hospital, where he had been a patient for two years.

Mr. Baker, who had resided in Springfield for the last six years, is survived by two sons, Harold T., city, and Kenneth, Cincinnati, Ohio; a daughter, Mrs. H. K. Dolbow, Effingham; brother, Frank, of Williamsville, and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Vancil funeral home. Rev. W. B. Foley will officiate and burial will be in Sulphur Springs cemetery, Loami.
