James Robert Johnson, 67, of Norwood, passed away early Wednesday morning, April 22, 2015.
Funeral services Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Norwood. Rev. Julie Hill will officiate and burial will follow in Randall United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Johnson was born July 30, 1947 in Stanly County to the late Robert Raymond Johnson and Dera Swaringen Johnson.
He was a 1965 graduate of South Stanly High School and was last employed by E. J. Snyder. He was a member of Randall United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Ethelyne Whitley, Ruby Lee Brewer, and Anna Carroll Eury.
He is survived by nieces and nephews.
