James L. Claude, age 69, of Morristown, died on Monday, July 30, 2012, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital, Minneapolis, surrounded by his loving family.

Memorial services will be held at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault, on Friday, August 3, 2012 at 10 a.m. with the Reverend Elden Eklund officiating. Veteran's military rites provided by the American Legion, Post #149 Morristown will be held at the Veteran's Memorial in Morristown.

Visitation will be at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault, on Thursday, August 2nd from 5 to 8 p.m. and also for one hour prior to the service on Friday.

James Lenford Claude, the son of Cletus and Irene (Birk) Claude, was born March 6, 1943 in Austin. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp during Vietnam. He married Cynthia Johnston on November 27, 1965 and she preceded him in death on May 17, 2001. Later, he married Melissa Hart on July 17, 2004 in Morristown. Jim was previously employed by Cannon Valley Telephone Co., Bergeron Construction of Owatonna and Heselton Construction of Faribault. He loved the outdoors and was honored to be a veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Melissa; three daughters, Jamie (and Jon) Kahnke, Jody Claude, and Jenni (and Jami) Blake, all of Waseca; two step children, Kelly Wenker of Morristown and Tyler Wenker of Browns Valley; ten grandchildren, Sierra, Samantha, Michael, Dalton, Kortnee, Austin, Izabella, Chantel, Corbyn, Ava; one sister, Patricia (and Ron) Hanevik of Fairmont; his faithful dog, Koda; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Cynthia; and one brother in infancy.
