Jacob Emery Bowser
Jacob Emery Bowser, 74, died early Sunday morning at the family home, 310 northeast Eighth street. He had lived in and near Abilene for the past 41 years. Surviving are his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Grace Stoffer of the home, Mrs. Florence Kline of Pasadena, and Mrs. Keith Hays of Hutchinson; one son, J. Hubert of Abilene, one foster daughter, Mrs. Curtis Fulton of Talmage; three sisters, Mrs. Ella Feik of Manchester, Mrs. Sarah Ukele of Sabetha and Mrs. Effie Dallas of Pennsylvania and other relatives. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Evangelical church. The Rev. Dan Blickenstaff will officiate and the Rev. C. O. Bickel will assist. Burial will be in the Abilene cemetery. Friends may call at the Eicholtz Funeral home until the time of services. The casket will not be open at the church.
