Rudolf O. Petzold, a familiar Mill Valley figure for the past 35 years, who maintained a watchmaker's shop at his home at 7 Grove Street, died yesterday in a San Francisco hospital of injuries suffered a week ago when he fell at his home. He was 69.
Petzold, a native of Denver, CO, had been a partial cripple for most of his life.
He was a widower. His late wife, Emma, was a well known music teacher. For the past 5 years he had lived alone.
He is survived by 3 sisters, Mrs. Esther Tedrick and Mrs. Alice McDermott of Alameda and Mrs. Ruth Dowty of San Luis Obispo.
