Jim was the son of Carl and Henrietta (Vogel) Schwindt. Jim was preceded in death by Charlotte J. (Nuss) Schwindt and is survived by Florene (Klinesmith/Spencer) Schwindt.
Other survivors include his son, Keith Schwindt, his wife and daughters, Candace Mumbower, Sherry Keuthan and Wendy Westby and their husbands; brother, Ronald Schwindt; sister, Kathy Stahla; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; six stepchildren and spouses; 23 step-grandchildren; and 38 step-great-grandchildren, all of whom he regarded and loved as his own.
He was preceded in death by his mother Henrietta; and his wife Charlotte. His father, Carl Schwindt, passed away recently on March 2 in Gering.
