Deanna Dee Anderson Beal, age 74 of Garland, TX, passed away April 19, 2015.
Born February 10, 1941 in Coalville, UT to Wilbert C. and Esther Powell Anderson.
Deanna is survived by children: Quinn (Roxanne) Beal of Saratoga Springs, UT; Janet (Rob) Dufresne of Frisco, TX; Vicki (Roger) Powell of Golden, CO; Benjamin (Jennifer) Beal of Garland, TX; James (Leslie) Beal of South Jordan, UT; Beverly (Mike) Livingston of Salem, UT. She is also survived by brother: Cleon Anderson; sisters: Vivian Hatch; Karma Phillips; Nancy Gates; Pamela Dew and 19 grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents.
Deanna's greatest joy in life was being a mother. Although hampered by polio at the tender age of fifteen, she overcame great adversity and raised six children with love, caring and great success. As an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served a full time mission for The Church in the Gulf States Mission (1962-1963). She was well known as an amazing teacher. Her knowledge of the scriptures is surpassed only by her faith in her Heavenly Father and in Jesus Christ. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her, for anyone who knew Deanna certainly loved her.
Funeral services will be held 5:30 p.m., Thursday, April 23, 2015 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Rowlett 2nd Ward, 8201 Garner Road, Rowlett, TX 75088. Viewing is prior to the service from 3:30 PM - 5:00 p.m. Interment will be Monday, April 27, 2015 in Wasatch Lawn Cemetery in Salt Lake City, UT with a viewing at 12:00 p.m. and a graveside service at 2:00 p.m.
