Deanna's greatest joy in life was being a mother. Although hampered by polio at the tender age of fifteen, she overcame great adversity and raised six children with love, caring and great success. As an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served a full time mission for The Church in the Gulf States Mission (1962-1963). She was well known as an amazing teacher. Her knowledge of the scriptures is surpassed only by her faith in her Heavenly Father and in Jesus Christ. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her, for anyone who knew Deanna certainly loved her.
