They were still in Anderson County until sometime after 1910. 1918 they were in Rising Star, Eastland, Texas, in September, but by Nov 1918 they were in Oklahoma where their son James Milton was born. 1920 finds them in Neosho, Newton County, Missouri and by 1929 they were in Brownwood, Brown, Texas. In 1934 his wife Mamie passed away in Brownwood.
He was united in marriage with Dora Finley Garrett on August 9, 1936 in Brownwood, Brown, Texas, who was a school teacher. No known children to this union.
1940 finds them in Elkhart, Anderson, Texas.
In 1956 he was widowed again, when Dora passed away in Athens, Henderson, Texas.
It is believed after that he lived with his son Roy Carlton Ramsour and his family in Lubbock County, Texas. Passing away at the age of 80 there.
