Born December 13, 1910, Mercur, Tooele County, Utah, the son of Thomas M. and Emma Anderson Howarth. Married Opal Vida Cook, February 14, 1932 in American Fork, Utah; she preceded him in death on November 23, 1990. Member, LDS Church.
Survived by two daughters and one son, Ruth Mays, Mrs. William L. (Edna) Drake, and Thomas Howarth all of Salt Lake City; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and brother, Vaughn Tidwell, of Tooele.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, July 31, 11 a.m., at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, where friends may call Tuesday, 6-7 p.m., and Wednesday 10:30-11 a.m. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Primary Children's Medical Center, 100 North Medical Drive, SLC, Utah 84113.
