Mildred Moses age 83, 2063 S.R. 67 Portland passed away Friday morning at her residence. She was born in Portland December 10, 1931 the daughter of Fred and Eva (Bergman) Wilson. She was retired after 34 years with United Telephone Co. She had also worked for Village Pantry, Handy Andy and did home cleaning. She was a member of the Jay County Hospital Aux., attended First Church of the Nazarene and was a 1949 Portland High School graduate.
Surviving are a son Mark Moses of Shreeveport, La., Two daughters Cathy Zorn of Portland and Cheryl Faught of Portland, Six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. In the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Rogers Durham presiding. Burial will follow in the Gravel Hill Cemetery west of Bryant. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. Memorials can be made to State of the Heart Hospice or Kidney Foundation.
