Services for Mrs. Louise Adams Pearson will be held Thursday at 11 am at Webb Chapel. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Pearson, 83, of Meridian, died Sunday, January 8, 2012 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a voice major at Bellhaven College and later earned her Masters of Library Science degree from Mississippi State University. She was a longtime employee of the Meridian Public School System serving as librarian at Magnolia Middle School for many years. Upon her retirement she was librarian at St. Patricks Catholic School. Mrs. Pearson also led several area church choirs in Meridian over the years.

She is survived by her son, John B. Pearson, III and his wife Michele daughters, Sarah Pearson Mott and her husband Seth, Carol Pearson Clark and husband, Jon, Laura Pearson Erickson and her husband Russell, and Patricia Ann Pearson Humphries and her husband Justus 11 Grandchildren: Jared Mott, Lydia Mott, Matthew Humphries, Hallie Pearson, Caitlin Humphries, Cody Pearson, Ashleigh Humphries, Jonathan Clark, Sarah Clark, Keegan Pearson, Bailey Erickson sisters: Carolyn Case, Beulah Wall and Inez Martin brother, Jerry Adams and numerous nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vercie and Lillie Adams husband, John B. Pearson, Jr. and a brother, James Adams.

Pallbearers will be Seth Mott, Jon Clark, Justus Humphries, Jared Mott, Matthew Humphries, Cody Pearson, Jonathan Clark, Keegan Pearson and Bailey Erickson.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 11, 2011 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at James F. Webb Funeral Home.
