Richard "Ricky" W. Jones, 56, husband of Tammy Nix Jones, of Orangeburg, SC, passed away April 23, 2015.
He was the son of the late Paul Evon Jones and the late Ruby Carter Jones. He was also predeceased by a sister, Paula Evon Jones.
He worked as a Pest Control Tehnician for Gressette Pest Management. He was a member of the American Pool Players Association.
Survivors include his wife of the home; step-mother: Marie Hughes Singletary of Orangeburg, SC; daughter: Candice Demers of Florence, SC; son: Aaron Jones of Atlanta, GA; step-son: Wyman Phillips of Fountain Inn, SC; step-daughters: Christina Jones of Orangeburg, SC and Cecelia Cromer (Richard) of Newberry, SC; sister: Susie Jones Campbell of Lexington, SC; two special aunts, Gloria Taylor of North, SC and Patsy Byrum of Orangeburg, SC; nephews: Justin Varnes and Brandon "Chico" Jones; nieces: Ashley Campbell and Brandi Campbell and six grandchildren.
Funeral Services was held at 3 PM on Monday, April 27, 2015, at Bull Swamp Baptist Church, North, SC. The Reverend Chuck Wells and the Reverend R. L. Zeigler officiated. Burial followed in Bull Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends from 5 to 7 PM on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Dukes-Harley Funeral Home.
