Rachel Clark Fort Fairfield 53. Died 3-7-1972 at a local hospital after a long illness. She was born in Bangor 8-29-1918 the daughter of Benjamin and Alice (Stafford) Kent. She graduated from Bangor High School Class of 1936 and from the University of Maine in 1940. At the time of her death she was head librarian at Fort Fairfield High School. She is survived by her husband Kenneth of Fort Fairfield, 3 daughters, Mrs. James (Betsey) Heavner of Seattle, WA., Miss Martha Clark of Fort Fairfield and Mrs. William (Nancy) Gill of Kelso, WA., a brother, Edward Kent of Dover, NH., a sister, Jean Belding of Swanzey, NH., 2 grandchildren. Burial Riverside cemetery.
