Ralph, the son of Raymond J. and Gertrude Walters, was called Ralphie or 'Hi Ya' by his co-workers. He grew up in the City of Buffalo with his sister, Joan.
Ralphie married Frances M. Ruppert. Together they raised their children: Mark, Michael, Bethann, Beverly and Paul in Derby, New York.
Ralphie started out as a Local 41 electrician, foreman and general foreman working for Ferguson Electric on various large projects. He was brought into the office working as a project estimator and engineer.
Ralphie always had a smile on his face. He had a great sense of humor. He was very well respected and loved by everyone. Ralphie was a very Christian person always helping the less fortunate in the community.
Ralphie's greeting when you saw him was 'Hi Yaaaa'. He was very loud with the greeting. That was his trade mark. Everyone knew who you meant if you said where is 'Hi Ya'.
Hi Yaaaa!!! Rest in Peace.
