James Harold Timberlake, 86, of Lanexa, was born January 26, 1929 and passed away April 22, 2015. Harold retired from Camp Peary after 31 years of service. He was a loyal member of Liberty Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and worked tirelessly on many committees. Harold loved to hunt, fish and tend to his garden. He was a loving husband and father who leaves behind his wife of 65 years, Fannie Mae; his son, Harold, Jr. (Diane); his daughter, Janet Gallaher (Larry); three grandchildren, Robert Timberlake, Josh Hazelwood and Summer Holt; two great-grandchildren, Justice and John Russell and two step-grandchildren, Justin and Laura who would visit when they came to Virginia. The family will receive friends Friday from 12 to 2 PM at Liberty Baptist Church, Lanexa, Va. with a funeral service beginning at 2 PM. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Vincent Funeral Home, Providence Forge is handling the arrangements.
