AN AGED MAN’S DEATH. THOMAS BORLAND OF MOUNT HOPE DIES AT THE AGE OF 94 YEARS. Thomas Borland, aged 94 years, died this morning at two o’clock at the residence of his son-in-law, Hugh Quigley, in the town of Mount Hope, this county. The funeral will take place from the Mount Hope Presbyterian church at 10 a.m. Friday. Mr. Borland died of dotage and general debility.
Four sons survive him : Alexander and John of Mount Hope, Thomas of New York city, and Elijah of Wisconsin ; and seven daughters : Mrs. Hugh Quigley of Mount Hope, Mrs. Jane Dodge of Ridge- bury, Mrs. Schuyler Post of Warwick, Mrs. Mary Taylor of Dakota, Mrs. A. Chapman of Middletown, Mrs. S. Hoo- verwest of Eau Claire, Wis., and Mrs. Parrott of Wisconsin. Mrs. Taylor is the mother of Mrs. 0. D. Wood of this village.
