Barbara J. Cramsey, age 74, of LaGrange, MO, died on Thursday, August 25, 2011 in the Lewis County Nursing Home. She was born on July 16, 1937 in Pekin, IL, the daughter of George & Viola (Meckes) Ohnemus. She married Kenneth J. Cramsey on April 7, 1956 in Quincy. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Cramsey was a CNA for 25 years at Blessing Hospital. She was a member of Notre Dame Catholic Church in LaGrange. Barbara lived her whole life for her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren enjoying all of their activities.

HER GRANDCHILDREN: Kim Barnes and her husband Joe, Chad Cramsey and his wife Mandy, Tim Cramsey, Emma Cramsey, Jenny Mead and her husband Rick, Jake Hedges and his wife Erin, Joshua Hedges, Lucas Cramsey, Cameron Cramsey and his wife Alexandria, Caden Cramsey, A.J. Schmidt, Rose Schmidt, Kait Lawrence, Nick Lawrence, Austin Johnson, Avery Johnson, & Adalyn Johnson;
HER GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Kayla, Ryan, Gage, Jorden, Ethan, Elijah, Sydney, Hannah, Jace, Dawson, Lilly & Bella.
A BROTHER: George Ohnemus and his wife Cindy of Pekin, IL
THREE SISTERS: Mary Hickey of Pekin, Theresa Ballard of Peoria and Christy Hunt of Creve Couer, IL

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a son Paul Joseph Cramsey in infancy, and three sisters: Patsy, Margaret and Cecilia.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at 9:00 AM in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home and at 10:30 in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Canton, MO. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4:00 until 7:00 at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home with a Prayer service at 7:00. Memorials may be made to the Lewis County Nursing Home or to the Blessing Cancer Center or to the Siteman Cancer Center of Barnes Hospital in St. Louis.
