WILSON -- Services for Lyndol L. Beaver, 73, will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 8, 2006, at Alexander Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Paul Reed officiating. Interment will be at Bomar Point Cemetery.
Born on Oct. 15, 1932, in Wilson, to Jesse Willis Adams and Lottie Lorene Baker Adams, Mrs. Beaver died on June 5, 2006, at the Ardmore hospital. She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Paul Beaver, on Nov. 27, 1980, and her parents.
A lifelong resident of Wilson, she graduated with the high school class of 1950 and was a loyal and dedicated servant to the Wilson Public Schools employed as a high school secretary for 39 years. After retirement in 2004 her dedication continued, substituting as needed. She has a devout passion for her students making every effort to make a difference. She will be missed by all.
She and Joe Paul Beaver were married on June 11, 1950, in Wilson.
Survivors include her husband, Joe Paul, of almost 56 years, of the home; two daughters, Deborah "Debbie" Anderson and husband, David, and Aylisa Marion and husband, Mark, all of Ardmore; a sister, Wanda Huffaker and husband, Jim, Tulsa; three granddaughters, Angela Redding and husband, Jeff, Yukon, April Anderson and April Marion, both of Ardmore; grandson, Brent Marion, also Ardmore; and great-grandson, Corbin Redding, Yukon.
Bearers will be Dave Rickard, Larry Don Mayton, Charlie Mayton, Ronald Gunter, Ray Davis, LeRoy Anderson and Doyle Davis.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 tonight at the funeral home.
