EWING, Mo. --Robert George Shouse, 63, of Ewing died at 5:50 a.m. Sunday (Sept. 25, 2005) in Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill. He was born Oct. 12, 1941, in Ewing, a son of Robert F. and Vera Welsch Shouse. He was married to Berniece Gaus on March 13, 1965, in the Durham Baptist Church, and she survives. Mr. Shouse was a graduate of Ewing High School in 1959. He was a member of the Mount Olivet Baptist Church near Ewing and the Eagles Aerie No. 535 in Quincy. He was owner and operator of George Shouse Trucking in Ewing. He is also survived by his mother, Vera Krietemeyer and her husband, Bob, of Ewing; three daughters, Brenda Sue Redmon and her husband, Craig, of Canton, Kimberly Ann Grant and her husband, Leonard, of Ewing, and Lynn Marie Wieprecht and her husband, Dewayne of Maywood; six grandchildren who were his pride and joy, Andrew and Audrey Redmon, Kendra and Nicholas Grant and Brittany and Brooke Wieprecht; two sisters, Judy Bugh and her husband, Roy, of Ewing, and his twin sister, Georgena Morton of Chambersburg, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Shouse; and a brother-in-law, Fred Morton. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Ball-Davis Funeral Home in Ewing by the Rev. Elmer Hagood. Burial will be in Ewing Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Ball-Davis Funeral Home in Ewing. Memorials may be made to the George Shouse Memorial Fund.
