Barbara was a member of the Church of the Holy Innocents. She loved arts and crafts, and collecting Hummel figurines. Relatives said she doted on her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Sterling Jones; children, Janet Lee (James) Semrau of Eastpointe, Judith L. Ciaramitaro of Roseville, Jacqueline Louise Gerios of Eastpointe, James L. (Sheila M.) Ciaramitaro of East China Township, Joanne Sterling Jones of Roseville and Jason Sterling (Melissa) Jones of Eastpointe; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary (Roger) Harris of Roseville and Marlene (Daniel) Fry of Fostoria, Ohio; and brother, William (Gerri) Bresnahan of Warren.
