GOSHEN - Memorial services for Mary Susan Hurst, 89, of 1801 Greencroft Blvd., who died at 6:33 a.m. Friday in her home, will be at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Burial will be in Violett Cemetery.
Mrs. Hurst was a waitress and also worked for G.C. Murphy Co. in Goshen as a sales clerk for 15 years, retiring in 1971. She was born Sept. 22, 1906, in Nappanee, moving to Goshen in 1948 from Ohio. On March 30, 1929, in Wadsworth, Ohio, she married Moses W. Hurst. He survives with a daughter, Violet Miller of Topeka; five sons, Lawrence "Larry" of Waterford, Pa., Leonard of Oak Forest, Ill., Carl of Valparaiso, Ronald of Charlottesville, Va., and Gerald "Tony" of Middlebury; 18 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Anna Mae Bixler of Seville, Ohio. She was a member of the church.
