Bernard Joseph DeClerk, 76 passed away April 20, 2015 at home surrounded by his family.

Bernard was born January 12, 1939 in Pocahontas, Arkansas to the late William A and Mary Schmidt DeClerk.

Bernard is survived by his wife Aryliss (Arkie) DeClerk, daughters; Maria (Steve) Bell, Catherine (Carl) Jarrett, Mary (Ron) Zitzelberger, Patricia (Allen) Thielemier of Pocahontas, and Reagen (Joe) Jacek of Sault Ste Marie, Michigan. Sons; Ben (Misti) DeClerk and Travis (Angie) DeClerk of Pocahontas. Grandchildren; Andrew (Jamie) Bell of Bentonville, Miranda Jarrett of Memphis, Rebecca DeClerk of Gilbert, AZ., Derek Passalaqua of Canton, OH., Morgan Skeet , Lauren Edwards and Alex Jacek of Saulte St. Marie, MI. Dalton Jarrett, Kent Zitzelberger, Taylor Thielemier, and Lane Thielemier of Jonesboro, AR., Olivia Bell, Logan Jarrett, Luke (Jennifer) Zitzelberger, Charlotte Zitzelberger, Priscilla (Heath) Mahan, Lee (Laura) Thielemier, Kelley DeClerk, Jessica Evans, Jami Passalaqua, Zachary DeClerk and Rachel DeClerk of Pocahontas, AR. Great- Grandchildren; Adrienne Mahan, Easton Mahan, Wade Zitzelberger and Holden Zitzelberger, Logan Marie Thielemier and one expected. Sisters Mary Catherine Knotts of Little Rock, AR., Betty Jane Coleman of Jamestown, KY and brother Rainer DeClerk of Pocahontas, AR.

He is preceded in death by his parents William A. (Bill) and Mary Schmidt DeClerk and a sister Dorothy Fee.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 22, 2015 from 5-7 p.m. at McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Rosary will be at 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. the following day Thursday, April 23, 2015 at St. Paul Church. Burial will be at St. Paul Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you leave a lasting memorial to St. Paul’s School Charitable Trust.
