Mrs. Martha Jane Daniel, widow of the late Dr. William B. Daniel of Prince George county, died last night at 7:45 o'clock at her home, about 12 miles from the city, on the Jerusalem Plank road. Mrs Daniel was 83 years old. She had enjoyed splendid health until she suffered a stroke of paralysis about ten weeks ago.
She is survived by the following children: Mrs T.A. Mitchell of Oyster Point, Virginia.; Mrs T.A. Shands and Mrs Minta Baugh, of Carson, Virginia.; R. M Daniel of Disputanta, Virginia.; Willie J. Daniel of Richmond, and Currie C. Daniel of Carson, and 19 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from Shiloh Baptist Church. The Rev. Henry B. Anderson, Pastor, will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
