Saugstad, Marvin D. "Babe" Passed away surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, August 15, 2013, age 84 years. Beloved husband of Donna (Nee Wicks) for 61 years. Loving father of Kathy Leitch, Debbie (Glenn) Thomson, Dan (Brenda), Gary (Deborah), and Terry (Cheryl). Proud grandpa of 13, and great-grandpa of 10. Dear brother of Maynard, Sr. (Joyce) and the late Myron "Mike" Saugstad. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation Tuesday, August 20, 2013, from 4 PM to 6:45 PM at GREENFIELD AVENUE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 1455 S. 97th St., with Funeral Service at 7 PM. Private interment Arlington Park Cemetery. Marvin proudly served in the U.S. Navy on the McKeon. Retired from the West Milwaukee Fire Department after 35 years, was a member of the Tin Can Sailors, and lifetime member of the West Allis Moose Lodge. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Greenfield Ave. Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund appreciated.
