Charles E. Roberts, age 66, of Brookville, Indiana died Sunday, April 19, 2015 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Born December 29, 1948 in Oneida, Kentucky he was the son of the late David & Bertha (Gabbard) Roberts. He was a graduate of Connersville High School with the class of 1967. On February 10, 1973 he and the former Juanita Guthrie were united in marriage and she survives.

Charles was retired from the former Visteon Corporation in Connersville where he had been employed for over 32 years. He also drove a school bus for the Franklin County Community School Corporation for several years. In his leisure time he enjoyed shooting, gardening and automobiles.

He was a member of the Metamora Church of God, where he was known for greeting folks and handing out candy to the children on Sunday mornings.

Besides Juanita, his loving wife of over 42 years, survivors include two daughters, Jama (James) Fredrick of Blooming Grove, Indiana and Lennie (Ed) Norris of Brookville, Indiana; five grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; four sisters, Sandy (Jeff) Detmer of Osgood, Indiana, Patricia (Rick) Rowe and Carol Roberts all of Everton, Indiana, Teresa (Tony) Horning of Clinton Township, Michigan, a sister-in-law, Darlene Roberts of Everton, Indiana; as well as a brother, David (Jean) Roberts of Everton, Indiana; and numerous nieces & nephews.

Family & friends may visit from 4 till 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Metamora Church of God, 20152 U.S. 52, Laurel, Indiana.

Pastor Wayne Ison & Brother Tom Marshall will officiate the Funeral Services on Friday, April 24, 2015, 11:00 A.M. at the Metamora Church of God in Metamora, Indiana. Burial will then follow in Sims Cemetery in New Fairfield, Indiana.
