Katherine Louise (Allison) Crowley, 93, Independence MO passed away April 18, 2015. Services will be 11:00 am, April 26, at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St, Independence, MO 64055; interment at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Stanley, KS. Visitation will be 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Chapel prior to the service. The family suggests contributions to Payton Place at 916 SW 19th Terrace, Blue Springs, MO 64015, where Katherine spent her final days and Crossroads Hospice Kansas City, 14310 East 42nd Street South, Independence, MO 64055. Katherine was born February 23, 1922 in her parent's home in Stanley, Kansas to Leon and Gladys (Zimmerman) Allison. She graduated valedictorian of the 1939 Class of Stanley Rural High School. She attended business college and worked until marrying Lyn Crowley in 1949. This began a great 64-year marriage. Katherine became the business director of Crowley, Wade Milstead, Inc. in 1964 and worked until 2013 at the age of 91. Katherine is preceded in death by her husband Lyn, and is survived by son Bradd and wife Marilyn, son Mark and wife Susan and daughter Cathy, as well as, grandchildren Aryn, Colin, Adam, Lauren, Sheriden, Cailyn, Cara, and great grandchildren, Ella, Troy, Emmett, Elin and Owenn.
