JANICE L. ANKENBRUCK, 75, passed away Friday, April 17, 2015 at Saint Anne Home in
Fort Wayne.

Born in Beaver Dam, Ind., Janice was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church. "She
was a dedicated wife, devoted mother, and went out of her way to comfort people."
She loved going to McDonalds for breakfast, and spoiling her grandchildren. She
loved music, walking her dogs, crafts, her miniature porcelain collection, and
going to the movies. In her younger years, she was a cheerleader at Beaver Dam
High School. She also worked as a beautician for Betty Jeans at Warsaw. She
enjoyed the annual family picnic in the backyard called "The last rose of
summer."

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Debra Ankenbruck.

Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 23, 2015 at St. Jude
Catholic Church, with visitation one hour prior. Fr. Jake Runyon officiating.
Calling also from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at D.O. McComb & Sons
Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue, with a Rosary at 7 p.m. Burial in
Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Ind.

"The family wishes to thank St. Anne Nursing Home." Memorials may be made to the
