Floyd James Enke, of Janesville, died on April 17, 2015, at his home. He was born in Prairie du Chien, WI, on March 8, 1930, to Edward and Elsie (Kuckenbecker) Enke. He attended schools in Prairie du Chien. Floyd farmed for several years and served in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955. He married Violet Mae Meyer on Jan. 5, 1957. Floyd was employed by General Motors for thirty-five years. In his retirement, he enjoyed playing cards at various establishments and spending time with family and friends. Floyd was survived by his wife, Violet; daughter; son; grandson; sister; and 2 brothers. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Debbie; grandson, Adam; sister, Norma; and four brothers: Virgil, Harold, Lyle, and Phil.
