Dorothy M. Angell, age 95, of Falmouth, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2015, at the Grant Manor Nursing Home, in Williamstown, Kentucky. Born on December, 22, 1919, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Lucy Rainey Colvin. She married Walter “Pete” Angell, and he preceded her in death on June 5, 1971. She was a lifelong member of the Antioch Mills Christian Church, a former employee of the Dr. Scholl’s Shoe Factory, Falmouth Sewing Factory and Pendleton County Community Action Center and retired as the librarian for the Falmouth School Center. Dorothy built her whole life around her family.

She is survived by: two children, Charles (Charlotte) Angell, of Batavia, Ohio, and Brenda (Kenny) Abercrombie, of Falmouth; seven grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; and her sister, Ruby Wyatt. She was preceded in death by: a grandson, James Bryant Brown; and her sister, Norma House

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 25, at 2:00 p.m. at Woodhead Funeral Home, in Falmouth, with Bro. Evan Meyers officiating. Pallbearers for the service will be Bobby House, Carl Antrobus, Garrett Marshall, Gary Barnard, Jimmy Angell and Paul Cookendoerfer. Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Wednesday from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. preceding the service at the funeral home.
