James Winford Bolton of Greenville died at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville Tuesday. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Forest Park Cemetery with Rev. Kirk Jones and Rev. Royce Litchfield and nephew, Charles Price officiating.
He was born Oct. 1, 1912 in Kingston to T.D. and Dora Merrill Bolton. He married Margaret Browning in Greenville on Oct, 23, 1937. He was owner of Bolton Paint and Body Shop and was a member and Deacon of the First Baptist Church of Greenville.
Survivors include his wife of Greenville; two sons, David Bolton of Greenville and Ben Bolton of Los Angeles, Calif.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
Visitation will be today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Peters Funeral Home. The funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
