They had nine children: John F., Carl Louis, Kathryn Rosalie, Myrtle Dorothy, Helen Louise, Prudence E., Samuel Curtis, Lillie Florence & Maurice Franklyn, Jr. The family lived on Defense Highway. Maurice was a power plant operator at Crownsville State Hospital. He died at Anne Arundel General Hospital, Annapolis.
