Joseph Littleton, 89, of Ranson, died Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at his residence under the care of his loving family.

Born Sept. 6, 1925, in Jefferson County, he was the son of John Thomas Littleton and Daisy Catherine (Longerbeam) Littleton.

Mr. Littleton retired from Badger Powhattan in the maintenance department.

He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, Charles Town.

Joseph is survived by his wife of 67 years, Peggy (Magaha) Littleton, at home; daughter, Sue Jacobs, of Ranson; sons, Randy Littleton and wife, Carol, of Martinsburg, Scott Littleton and wife, Patty, of Ranson and Trevor Littleton and wife, Cindy, of Charles Town; grandchildren, Joey Jacobs and wife, Chrissy, David Littleton and wife, Kara, Bradley, Jason, Trenton and Mackenzie Littleton, Christi Dinant and Paul Zirkle and Courtni, Devin and Lauren Williams; great-grandchildren, Mallory Jacobs, Samuel Littleton and Kendall and Seth Donivan; and sister, Gloria Sine, of Leetown.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Anna Hutson, Katie Littleton, Vernie Henry and Geneva Clark; and five brothers, Theodore Littleton, Tho- mas Littleton, Jack Littleton, Frank Littleton and Shirley Littleton.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 20, 2015, at Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home, Charles Town, with Pastor Duane Jensen officiating.

Interment will be at Edge Hill Cemetery, Charles Town.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
