Our loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother was reunited with our Father on April 11, 2015.
She was born in Fairview on March 28, 1929, the daughter of Willis Randall and La Vera Christina Sanders Brady.
Her family moved to Salt Lake City, where she attended Irving Jr. High and South High. She learned to play the piano at an early age and was an accomplished pianist.
She met the love of her life, Leon M. Pedersen, and they were married on August 10, 1946. They were later sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple.
She shared her great testimony of the gospel to all and loved serving in many church callings, including being a temple and ordinance worker.
She shared her talent with many by being an accompanist and she also sang in the "Allegra" choir.
She was loved by all and she gave love to all and will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her brother, Blaine (Carol) Brady, and five of her six children, Gary (Lorna) Pedersen, Deborah Mery, Sherrie (Abel) Saiz, Mark (Letty) Pedersen, and Tracy (Marlene) Pedersen and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sweetheart, Leon M. Pedersen; her 1st born daughter, Karen, and husband, Kent Van Leuven; her parents and three siblings, Wesley Brady, Virginia Black, and Alice Pickering.
We want to thank everyone at Dignity and Hospice, Stephanie (Chaplain), and friends and management at Olympus Ranch for all their kindness and help that was shown to our mother.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 17, 2015 in the Cottonwood Acres Ward Chapel, 981 Revere Circle, Murray. A viewing will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursda. April 16, 2015 at Memorial Estates Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East, Murray, and one hour prior to the services on Friday.
