WAYNE A. ARBUCKLE, 79, of Fort Wayne, formerly of Indianapolis and Camby, passed away Thursday, Dec. 18, 2003. He was employed by Peerless Pump Co., for 50 years, retiring in 1982 as the plant manager. He was a graduate of Arsenal Technical High School, in 1942 and a volunteer for The United Ostomy Association. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, during World War II, serving in the South Pacific. Surviving are his children, James L. (Linda), Dr. John W., Jeffrey L. (Kathleen) Arbuckle, Joann (Dr. Mark) McQuinn, Susie (Dr. John) Smith; sister, Mildred Berryman and 16 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margret "Josie" Johnston Arbuckle; brother, Raymond Arbuckle and sister, Elenore Brackin.
