Sister of Walter Francis, James William, Earl Howard, Ruth Lillian, Ralph Ollie, Neal, Nancy and Ronald.
Wife of Herbert Herman Bussa, of Iowa. Married Dec. 31, 1935.
Married 48 years.
Mother of Herbert Glen, Jack Victor and Gail Charlotte.
Grandmother of Karen Cynthia, Diane Gail, and Catherine Mary. Great Grandmother of David, Greg, Adrea, Erich and Nathan. Great grandmother of Jordan.

Mildred "Mil" was a Democrat. She served as an election judge for 30+ years. During WW2, she did defense work in a tent factory in Mason City Iowa. She was very active and effective in the Leyden Homeowners' Assn. She was a golfer, a bowler, and a pinochle and canasta player. She loved to dance. She competed in 2 dance marathons. She loved to swim. She grew African violets.
She was a devoted mother to her 3 children, and a devoted grandmother to her 3 granddaughters. She was "Aunt Mil" to a multitude of nieces and nephews and God son,
Albert Joseph Drury.
She attended York High School in Elmhurst, Illinois, where she made top grades. She took care of her 6 younger brothers and sisters including a set of twins, and was very close to her two older brothers. She was extremely patriotic. A member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
She was colorful, and always fun.
She had a multitude of friends, and was spirited and always ready to help out when needed. She was matron of honor at her daughter's wedding on Dec. 31st 1983, which was her 48th wedding anniversary as well. She has been missed very much since her passing.
